This was a gift for my niece, who sews a lot and also makes her own patterns. I got this for her to give as a present, and the occasion just passed last week. I ordered way ahead of time to make sure it was what I hoped it would be, because sometimes you never know when it comes to novelty things as such. The price seemed a little high compared to most flash drives available at your local electronics store for the storage space.

My niece, who is 22, and loves the color purple was in love with this gift. She said it was her favorite among all she received, with most bring much more expensive things. She said it was the most creative and useful thing she received (besides giftcards, I'm sure)!

If you are looking for a gift or just want something for yourself, you can't go wrong. Of course you can find cheaper flash drives, but this makes a truly unique gift or specialty drive if you need one to match your hobbies, personality, or subject files. The colors were true to the examples.

Very cute and works well. The only problem I have is that I used it to transport designs I was working on in sewing class and then bring back home after class. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way the "cap" fell off so it is just the pink scissor handles with the USB sticking out. It's not as cute but it still works great.

Cute and it works (always a plus...) one problem was that the little grey end that you pull off to access the plug was very tight on mine. I had to dig out a we bit of the inside of it (the grey piece) or it would have been to difficult to be a useable item.
Now, in fairness this could have been an isolated flaw but I wanted to include it to be completely honest in my review.

It is soon handy when you can send someone into your workspace and easily describe a usb or even find it for yourself you know what is on what little stick. I do wish they had some larger memory available though. I would love a 32 or 64 gig capacity in this same usb design

I love the overall design & color of this flash drive. The only thing I wish was different was the way the cover is removed from the usb port. It is all pliable rubber like material and there is really no way to grip the scissors tip to pull it off and the material it is made from seems to make it grip tighter when you are holding it to remove it. I scraped some the the inside material away and it works some better. A harder plastic (at least on the tip would have been desirable.
