How to Factory Reset Galaxy Tab A


Want to return your Galaxy Tab A to factory conditions? This can be great for starting new, fixing problems or because you are about to sell your device. Heck you could even be giving it away.

My guide will show you how to Boot into Android recovery and do a full Factory Reset of your device. You can even do other things through Android recovery as well.

How to factory Reset the Galaxy Tab A?

In order to factory Reset the Galaxy Tab A you need to.

1.Power off your Tablet.

2.Hold Power and Volume up.

3.The device will start up and when you feel the vibration let go of power and keep holding volume up.

You will see the Samsung logo and your device will boot up to Android recovery.

4.In Android recovery use volume up and down to move and power to select.

5.Select: Wipe data /Factory reset , confirm and your data will be reset. You can reboot after this, don’t worry if your device take a little longer than normal to reboot this is usually the case of a factory reset.
