By default your iPhone will attempt to upload your Videos and Pictures to your iCloud account. This is regardless of the fact that you are on Data or WiFi.
I am here to show you how to Stop Photos uploading to iCloud on Mobile Data. This way you can save your cellular data in case you are on a limited plan with a set data cap where every megabyte counts.
Also believe me you will want to learn how to do this as on a limited plan you may find that this feature exhaust your data.
How to Turn off Photo Uploading to iCloud on Mobile Data?
1.Go to settings.
2.Now scroll down and look for Photos.
3.select Mobile Data.
4.Now turn off the option: Mobile data and the other option of Unlimited Updates should be off too.
This way your phone will not upload Pictures or Videos to the cloud using your mobile or cellular data.
If you want to save even more data then check out this article on Background App refresh.
My video guide gives a detailed walk through of the process and what you are to do step by step.
Doing this will prevent uploads from using up your data in the background as your pictures and media is uploaded.
