My guide today will walk you through what you can do in case you need to backup your contacts. This can come in handy in cases where you reset your device or do something that may wipe your device or mess with things and you may loose your contacts.
Most contacts are often stored on your phone itself and not only on your SIM card so its a good idea to backup your contacts to a reliable place such as on your MicroSD card. This can be done in a file called the Contacts.VCF file.
You can then backup this file where ever you like after you do the initial backup.
This guide will walk you through what to do in order to backup your contacts on your Samsung phone.
How to do a Backup of your Contacts?
This is how to backup your Contacts on the Galaxy S10 and other similar devices you may have from Samsung or Android.
1.Go to your Contacts and open it on your Samsung phone.
2.Now click the three lines in the upper left of the screen.
3.Next go to: Manage Contacts.
4.Go to Import or export contacts.
5.Now click on Export and choose a destination. I suggest that you choose: SD Card. Next click Export and let the process complete and click OK.
The file will be store as a Contacts.vcf and you can remove it from the MicroSD card and store it on your computer or where ever if you like.

In order to restore contacts simply do as above and when you are at the Manage Contacts screen,Import or export contacts- instead of export this time choose import and select the Contacts.VCF and restore after your device has been cleared and you will restore all your contacts with ease.
