How to Check if your SIM is detected?
Other than making calls and texts one sure way you can check the status of your SIM card by going to settings,connections, SIM card Manager and then SIM Cards. You will be able to see if there is a SIM or NO SIM card.
How to Fix No SIM Card detected?
In order to fix No SIM card detected do the following
1.Go ahead and remove the SIM card and clean the metal contacts on the SIM card.Next reseat the SIM card and it should be detected.
2.Make sure the SIM is not bent or flexed. You may have to straighten it out.
3. You may have to get a switch of SIM cards if the current one does not work anymore.
4.Contact your carrier and check if there are any service or coverage issues they might be having.
