Remove Background from Photo Samsung Galaxy


Want to remove the background from a Photo or Picture you Have on your Samsung Galaxy and don’t know how. In this guide I will show you how to easily use the built in Photo Editor in Samsung Galaxy devices to edit pictures in record time.

No need to download any additional software or anything. All you need is already on your phone and waiting.

Demonstration Device:

This tutorial was performed on a Galaxy S22 Ultra on Android 13. It should work just the same on any Android based Galaxy device you have even if its not a S22. So go ahead and follow the directions.

How to Remove Background from Photos Samsung Galaxy?

To remove the Background go ahead and take a picture or find a existing one you want the background removed for.

1.Click Edit on the Picture or Pencil icon.

2.Click the Broken circle icon on the right.

3.Draw a circle around the portion of the Picture you want to keep, you can do more than one object.

4.Click next when done, choose a background color or border if you wish by adjusting the slider.

5.Click done and save when satisfied and that’s it.

You will have a PNG file in your Gallery with the background removed and you can use this to add above another photo and it will blend seamlessly.
