Add Battery Percentage iOS 16

So Apple finally did it, they decided to give users the ability to add the Battery percentage to your iOS devices as of IOS 16. My device is currently on IOS 16.1 and I have the ability to add the battery percentage in the battery icon that is seen in the upper right.

The best part about this is that you can see the remaining battery percentage in exact values. This is a welcomed change compared to the old method of seeing battery percentage on iPhone’s and you can see that below.

What devices will this work on?

This will work on any device that can be updated or is running IOS 16 and above. This includes iPhone 11,12,13,14 and even iPhone X, iPhone Xr, the Mini series and so on. If you have a newer device then you should not have a problem.

How to Add Battery Percentage iOS 16?

So in order to add the battery percentage make sure your device is on IOS 16 or higher. To check for updates or which update you are on go to settings, General and software update.

1.Go to your settings next.

2.Now go to Battery.

3.Now at the top turn on Battery Percentage.

Notice that the battery percentage is now in the upper right in the battery. This addition will be visible from most screens and you can see the remaining battery.
