This guide will show you the easiest way to check your Macbook Air or Macbook Pro model.This can be a effective way of telling what a Macbook is exactly and when it was produced.

I personally use this method to check the model and what processor is in the device. This can come in handy for checking a new device you just got or checking the a device before purchasing.

1.Click the Apple logo upper right.

2.Next click about this Mac.

3.You should be on the overview tab that outlines all the information pertaining to your device or the main model information that you are looking for including the year the model in hand.
