How to Screen Mirror to Smart TV using Galaxy S10 1

Screen Mirroring is a great feature to use to cast anything on your Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone to a Smart TV set. In Samsung though the feature is not called Screen Mirroring but Smart View, which is basically the same thing.

I will be showing you how to do this using a Roku TV set but bear in mind that this will also work on any smart TV set you have.

Devices this Applies to?

This applies to the Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Plus, S10 5G and even other older Samsung Galaxy Devices as the process works in exactly the same way.

Screen Mirroring also works for other smart devices such as Tablets,PC and so on to be shown on your TV set.

Galaxy S10 Screen Mirroring (Smart View)

1.First go to your TV set and go into setting and look for the screen Mirroring option and turn it on. On Samsung’s the feature is called Smart View,on most other TV sets its Screen Mirroring.

Be sure to turn it on and accept screen Mirroring signals from smart devices.

2. On a Roku TV try going to settings, then System, then screen mirroring and finally set screen Mirroring mode to Prompt or always allow. Prompt is safer as you have to accept before anything is displayed on the TV, while always allow will simply allow your device to connect.

3.On the Samsung Galaxy S10 simply go ahead and swipe down from the top on the Home screen. Swipe down once more to see the quick toggles and select Smart View.

Scan for a device and simply select your TV set name when it appears. Be warned you will need to be connected to the same WiFi network for this to work for both the TV and the smartphone.

4.That’s it the TV should start displaying whats on your phone. You can now show off your pictures, Videos and Apps to your family and friends on your TV set.
